Chuck Daly, who coached the original Dream Team to the Olympic gold medal in 1992 after winning back-to-back NBA championships with the Detroit Pistons, has died. He was 78.
I remember many nights in my kitchen growing up watching (on a little 8 inch TV) Chuck lead Isaiah, Joe, Vinny, Dennis, Rick, Laimbeer and others to another win and eventually a couple championships.

He has already proven his worth as a coach.. Surely, he will be missed.. Although it would have different if he was diagnosed earlier.. But we all know that God has a plan for us.. We, fans, would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends left by the legendary coach.. We sincerely pray for him to rest in peace.. It can’t be helped that he will surely be missed.. NBA has lost a hall of famer.. Surely, he will never ever be forgotten.. He shall remain as the legendary coach of the Dream Team..!
